Thomas Henry, mayor of Fort Wayne, Indiana, led a delegation to visit Tiantai county in Taizhou, Zhejiang province, Nov 1 to exchange ideas on education, culture and art.

A wedding ceremony featuring Chinese Hehe culture (Harmonious culture) was held in Hehe Culture Park that afternoon.

Traditional Chinese bridal elements such as red lanterns, carpets and ribbons, were featured at the ceremony. The ceremony also featured traditional rituals such as the bride striding over a firepan, worshiping the two immortals of Harmony, bowing to the heaven and earth, and serving tea to both sets of parents.
