Exploring Taizhou's summer resorts

Minor Heat, the 11th solar term of the year, began on July 6 this year, signifying that the hottest period is coming. Taizhou, Zhejiang province boasts a variety of summer resorts, giving visitors an escape from the hot weather. 

Nestled within the Huangmao Mountain Tea Plantation in Huangyan district, the Sky City scenic area offers a tranquil escape at 670 meters above sea level. Surrounded by mist-kissed mountains and lush tea gardens, it is perfect for camping and barbecues under starlit skies.

In Yuhuan, Dalu Island is China's first national island forest park with 87.5-percent forest coverage, making it a pristine haven. Its lush forests and gentle waves against the backdrop of the East China Sea create a peaceful ambiance, ideal for a relaxing getaway.

Shiliang scenic area in Tiantai county offers a picturesque countryside scene. The traditional architecture and poetic ambiance in Shiliang town evoke a sense of nostalgia, inviting visitors to immerse themselves in its cultural richness. 

From the town, a trip to Tiantai Mountain unveils the awe-inspiring Shiliang Waterfall. The waterfall, dubbed "the greatest wonder in the world", has enchanted poets and scholars for generations, with its cascading waters being a timeless muse for artistic expression.
