Zhejiang Xingxing Refrigeration Co, based in Taizhou, Zhejiang province, is experiencing a surge in orders and production activity recently, with its workshops bustling with efficiency.

"At present, our order deliveries are scheduled through July," said Zou Yuhua, foreign trade director of the company. On the automatic conveyor workbench, refrigerators and freezers are neatly arranged, going through processes. A refrigerator can roll off the line automatically in as fast as 10 seconds.

The company specializes in manufacturing household and commercial refrigerators and freezers, catering to a global market spanning over 100 countries and regions. The increase in its orders was attributed to the support from Taizhou Customs, according to Zou.

Taizhou Customs plays a crucial role in facilitating the export of cold chain equipment. It offers tariff guidance services and streamlines customs clearance processes, helping enterprises to enjoy policy dividends under the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership to the fullest.

From January to May this year, the export of refrigerators in Taizhou hit 541 million yuan ($74.52 million), up by 11.21 percent, according to statistics from Taizhou Customs.

Taizhou Customs actively assists enterprises in making effective use of the RCEP rules of origin, guiding them to fully enjoy the benefits of tariff reductions. From January to May, Taizhou Customs issued a total of 1,762 RCEP origin certificates to 183 enterprises, a year-on-year increase of 13.46 percent.
