The Yuhuan Convention and Exhibition Center in Yuhuan, Taizhou, Zhejiang province was bustling with activity on April 19, as preparations were underway for the upcoming Yuhuan Machinery Exhibition to be held at the end of the month.

"Nearly 700 enterprises will participate in the event, occupying around 1,000 booths," said Lu Xuming, general manager of the Yuhuan Huanya Exhibition Service Company.

The Zhenjiang CNC Machine Tool Company, located in Yuhuan, is among the participating companies. Every year, it takes part in exhibitions across the country, showcasing its latest products.

"In the past, there were few exhibitions in Yuhuan. In order to participate in more exhibitions, we have traveled to a lot of places," said Liu Zhou, the company's manager.

Since the Yuhuan Convention and Exhibition Center was established in 2018, local enterprises have been able to attend exhibitions closer to home. Liu emphasized that they can now participate in exhibitions much more cheaply than before.

At present, the center regularly holds six large-scale exhibitions every year, with an annual turnover of more than one billion yuan ($138.05 million).
