700-plus Taizhou companies to attend 135th Canton Fair

A total of 763 companies from Taizhou, Zhejiang province, will unveil their latest products at the 135th China Import and Export Fair, popularly referred to as the Canton Fair, taking place in Guangzhou from April 15 to May 5, as announced by the Taizhou Municipal Bureau of Commerce.

These companies will occupy 2,057 booths at the fair, constituting 23.1 percent of Zhejiang's total booth count and positioning Taizhou as the second-largest contributor in the province. Compared to the previous edition, this year's event will feature 18 more companies and 32 more booths from Taizhou.

The 135th Canton Fair is set to host 28,600 companies from around the globe within a sprawling exhibition area spanning 1.55 million square meters. Among these businesses, over 4,300 will be participating for the first time, with 680 slated to partake in the import and export segment.

The escalating number of registered buyers and business delegations set to attend the fair serves as a testament to its burgeoning influence. Preliminary statistics reveal that a total of 93,000 buyers from 215 countries and regions worldwide have completed their registration. In addition, more than 220 renowned enterprises and commercial institutions have affirmed their intention to dispatch delegations to participate in the fair, surpassing the scale of previous editions.
