Thirty-six companies from Taizhou, Zhejiang province, showcased their digital trade achievements at the fifth Global Digital Trade Expo in Hangzhou on Sept 24, highlighting the city's progress in smart equipment, digital innovation, and cross-border commerce.

At the Theme Exhibition Area in Hall 2, Taizhou aerospace equipment companies, including Geespace and Yuhuan Tianrun Aviation Machinery Manufacturing, displayed their products. Geespace presented its low-orbit satellite Internet of Things constellation, while Tianrun Aviation showcased self-developed aviation locks for aircraft, drones, and other aerospace equipment.

Beyond aerospace equipment, Taizhou companies showcased how digital technologies are revolutionizing traditional industries. Aitu (Zhejiang) Intelligent Sewing Technology, a subsidiary of Jack Technology, brought sewing humanoid robots and template machines to demonstrate automated garment-making processes.

At the smart mobility exhibition area, Zhejiang Cunfu Import and Export displayed modified vehicles, electric bicycles, and motorcycles made in Taizhou. The company's modified vehicle export business exceeded 300 million yuan ($44.73 million) in the first half of the year and is expected to surpass 500 million yuan for the full year.

In the Silk Road e-commerce area, local platforms and foreign trade service providers presented digital approaches to expanding overseas markets.
