Wenqiao town in Wenling, a county-level city in Taizhou, East China's Zhejiang province, has embraced e-commerce to bring its industrial tool manufacturing into the digital age.

With a focus on expanding both domestic and international markets, Wenqiao's industrial tool sector is forging a new growth path by leveraging online platforms.

At the Zhejiang Industrial Tool Trading Center in Wenqiao, nearly 1,000 tool companies are now operating online, with many shifting to digital order-taking and shipping. Qianrui Tools has been manufacturing industrial tools for over 20 years. The company expanded into e-commerce about seven years ago and now primarily uses platforms like AliExpress and Taobao to conduct cross-border trade.

Lifeng Precision Tools (Zhejiang) has also ventured into cross-border e-commerce. Since 2023, the company has been actively expanding its overseas presence and building partnerships with distributors to reach global markets.

The company's annual shipment volume has reached 100 million units, with about one-sixth of orders coming from overseas markets.

As of now, over 80 percent of businesses in Zhejiang Industrial Tool Trading Center have shifted online. This digital transformation has become a key driver in securing orders and expanding markets.
