More than 1,300 new energy vehicles produced in Taizhou, East China's Zhejiang province, gathered at Damaiyu Port on Nov 11, is preparation for an upcoming shipment to Vladivostok, Russia.
Vehicles from production bases in Luqiao and Linhai arrived at the port and will be loaded onto the vessel Golden Forest on Nov 15. The shipment includes 1,145 Geely new energy models and more than 200 GAC new energy vehicles, posing a significant test of the port's operational capacity and logistics efficiency.
To support the shipment, Damaiyu Port has prepared a detailed plan covering vehicle flow, storage layout, and safety measures. The operation aims to achieve quick unloading, orderly parking, and efficient turnaround while ensuring secure handling throughout the vehicles' stay at the port.
Damaiyu Port has expanded into new business lines and enhanced transport links in recent years while absorbing cargo overflow from Ningbo Port. This shipment's upcoming departure underscores the port's growing role in supporting the region's coastal industries and maintaining stable foreign trade supply chains.
