Taizhou cuisine stood out in the 2026 Beijing Michelin Guide, the guide's seventh year in the Chinese capital, which was unveiled on Oct 29, with Xin Rong Ji and its affiliated brands together earning nine Michelin stars.
A total of 99 restaurants made the list, including two three-star establishments, six two-star venues with two new additions, and 24 one-star restaurants featuring one newcomer and two promotions. The guide also recognized 26 Bib Gourmand restaurants, eight of which were new entries.
Xin Rong Ji's flagship restaurant on Xinyuan South Road retained its prestigious three-star status for the seventh consecutive year. Jingji received two stars, while Furong on Jianguomenwai Street and Xin Rong Ji on Jinrong Street each earned one star. Rongpao, a new entrant this year, also gained one star, further solidifying the group's culinary reputation.
In addition, Rong Cuisine on Baiziwan South Er Road was featured in the Bib Gourmand category.
