Workers at Zhejiang Auarita Pneumatic Tools LLC — a company based in Wenling, a county-level city in Taizhou, East China's Zhejiang province — were assembling an export order on Aug 11.

They were producing 1,000 units of the company's W-series environmental spray guns for a shipment to Italy — a product recently included on the 2025 "Zhejiang manufacturing excellence" list.

The list — part of a broader effort to build up the Zhejiang Made brand — covers advanced manufacturing, digital technology integration, and specialty consumer goods.

It focuses on high-tech, future-oriented, and historically established industries — selecting specialized and innovative products with key core technologies and independent intellectual property.

This year, Taizhou had 45 products on the list, spanning intelligent equipment, pumps and motors, new energy, and new materials. Wenling led the city with eight entries.

The recognition has not only reflected high quality and technical capability, but also Taizhou's industrial upgrading.

Wenling, for example, has advanced towards industrial digitalization, enterprise development in tiers and high-end product manufacturing. To date, 41 Wenling-made products have been named on the Zhejiang manufacturing excellence list.
