Jiaojiang district in Taizhou, Zhejiang province, has initiated the "Coupling" Action to foster the fusion of talents with enterprises, aiding in mutual growth.

Since 2023, this endeavor has facilitated collaborations between 13 talent projects and local enterprises, resulting in output surpassing 1.07 billion yuan ($146.24 million).

"The talent teams possess technical expertise, but lack management skills; local enterprises excel in operations but fall short in technology. They are like tenons and mortises that need to be fitted together," explained Li Hui, deputy head of the organization department of Jiaojiang district.

The "Coupling" Action aims to bridge the gap and convert talent advantages into new quality productive forces.

One success story is how Zhejiang Abel Electron Co resolved issues with the accuracy and stability of its resonators.

Through the intervention of talent service specialist Zhang Kunlin, Professor Fan Lisha and her team from Zhejiang University of Technology worked with the company to develop a new resonator with superior performance, leading to increased orders and production efficiency.

Another collaboration between Professor Zhang Jian — former dean of the Suzhou Automobile Research Institute, Tsinghua University — and Taizhou Zannx Technology Co resulted in the establishment of Taizhou Zhentu Intelligent Technology Co.

The automotive electronic and onboard intelligent electronic control drive platform Zhang provided is currently an industry leader.

"Professor Zhang provides the technology, and we build the production line, manage the team, and establish sales channels. In just half a year, we achieved mass production, with sales exceeding 23 million yuan. This year, we are hopeful that sales will surpass 100 million yuan," said Fan Zhengping, executive director of Zhentu Technology.
