Yuhuan, a picturesque section along Taizhou's Highway 1, has emerged as a romantic haven, attracting over 200,000 visitors in a year and earning a reputation as one of Zhejiang province's top road trip destinations.

Along this route is the Qimo Cafe, dubbed the "Sunset-Selling Cafe", a popular stop for travelers seeking breathtaking views.

Owner Zeng Xiaojun said, "Sipping coffee while watching the sunset over the sea is pure romance."

Amid a trend of overcrowded traditional tourist spots, Yuhuan has seized the opportunity to cultivate a "beauty economy", catering to travelers seeking unique experiences away from the crowds. With its natural assets of sea, islands, and islets, this county-level city in Taizhou has established itself as a place for relaxation and exploration for visitors.

Yuhuan's 135 islands offer diverse landscapes and activities. Visitors can soak up island life on Jishan Island, enjoy the strange rocks on Dalu Island, or savor seafood delicacies at Kanmen.

By introducing immersive experiences like the Aolong Fish Lantern and enhancing visitor facilities, Yuhuan aims to solidify its reputation as a romantic destination, enticing travelers to explore and embrace the island lifestyle.
