Chengbei subdistrict in Wenling county-level city in Taizhou, Zhejiang province, is renowned as the "Hometown of Chinese Children's Shoes". It boasts a modern landscape of shoe factories, where over 900 enterprises produce a variety of shoe designs destined for global markets.

Last year, Wenling's children's shoe industry partnered with Huzhou's children's wear industry to establish the Wenling Children's Shoe Selection Center at the Zhili International Children's Garment Mall.

This selection center, featuring flagship products from seven prominent children's shoe enterprises in Chengbei subdistrict, has been attracting a steady flow of foreign buyers seeking collaborations and business opportunities since its opening.

Lin Jie, director of the Development Services Office in Chengbei subdistrict, highlighted that this partnership between the "Hometown of Children's Shoes" and the "Capital of Children's Wear" provides a platform to combine design and sales resources, promoting collaborative industrial development.

Furthermore, the region has launched significant projects to bolster production capacity and innovation. The construction of the Intelligent Manufacturing Park for Children's Shoes began in August, with an expected annual capacity of 6 million pairs while the Peak Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Base, starting construction in December, is set to introduce cutting-edge production lines.

This year, Chengbei subdistrict plans to organize a foreign trade exhibition for the shoe industry, supporting export endeavors and facilitating the expansion of Wenling's children's shoe industry into international markets.
