The 2025 International Boxing Training Camp, organized by the Zhejiang Boxing Association, commenced in Sanmen county, Taizhou, Zhejiang province, on Feb 16, attracting over 300 boxers from Uzbekistan's and China's national teams, as well as various professional teams from across China.

Uzbekistan's national boxing team, renowned for its outstanding five gold medals in seven weight classes at the 2024 Paris Olympics, brought their expertise to the camp, sharing advanced techniques and boxing concepts with their Chinese counterparts.

Sanmen's Jinlinhu Experimental School, serving as a vital venue, provided top-tier facilities for the training sessions.

Chen Yirong, a 25-year-old boxer representing Sanmen, expressed eagerness to learn from the high-level athletes at the camp, recognizing it as an opportunity for personal growth and skill development.

The 15-day camp is aimed to enhance the popularity and competitive level of boxing in Zhejiang, ultimately preparing athletes for the 15th National Games.

Sanmen's dedication to sports development has positioned the region as a source of athletic talent, with the training camp serving as a catalyst for the growth of boxing in the area.
