Taizhou in Zhejiang province recently released the first batch of international cultural exchange bases, with the Shenxianju scenic area in Xianju county making the list.
With its picturesque landscapes of peculiar peaks and rocks shrouded in mist, Shenxianju scenic area attracts tourists from all over the world, including social media influencers with millions of fans.
Visitors marvel at the convenience of scaling heights with the help of escalators, and take photos at popular tourist spots, while exclaiming at the unique charm.
International tourists have been flocking in ever since the Shenxianju scenic area made an overseas social media account and intensified publicity. Coupled with the 240-hour visa-free transit policy, the tourists are satisfying their urge for mountain climbing.
In recent years, the scenic area has been aligning itself with international standards in hosting events, including inviting international travel groups to explore the area and organizing the China-Korea mountaineering event, all contributing to cultural exchanges.
Furthermore, the slackline events have dazzled the scenic area, with accolades such as "China's first international promotion base for high-altitude slackline sports" and "the birthplace of China's high-altitude freestyle slackline", attracting top talents from around the world to compete.
