A group of visitors from seven countries gathered with ethnic minority locals in Wugen town, Wenling — a county-level city in Taizhou, Zhejiang province — on Feb 11 to celebrate Lantern Festival.
The visitors immersed themselves in various activities like making tangyuan or glutinous rice balls. The lively atmosphere left a deep impression on those who celebrated Lantern Festival in China for the first time.

Moreover, the group enjoyed watching band performances, learning Chinese dances, and engaging in riddle guessing. They enthusiastically joined the dancers in traditional attire, demonstrating their admiration of Chinese culture despite their initial unfamiliarity with the rhythms and movements.
The warm hospitality and festive atmosphere were particularly appreciated by the visitors. The event culminated in a group photo, capturing the joy and harmony shared among individuals of different backgrounds coming together to celebrate the festival.
