The Taizhou Spring Festival Gala was recorded at the Taizhou News and Media Center on the evening of Jan 22, extending warm wishes to residents.

Preparations for the Spring Festival Gala began four months ago. This year's gala emphasized artistic innovation and youthful expression, incorporating trendy elements to captivate the audience with traditional festivities and vibrant energy.

The gala featured 20 programs spanning singing, dancing, rap, operas, magic shows, and local dialect performances, eliciting continuous laughter and applause from the audience.

Shanghai performers Qian Yi and Tao Dexing presented a traditional Shanghai farce, aiming to introduce themselves to the Taizhou audience and spread joy through their performance.

"This year marks the most abundant and creatively intensive program since I directed the Taizhou Spring Festival Gala, with a variety of art forms," said director Shang Wenbo. He believes that all viewers, especially those from Taizhou, will be able to find the local flavor and experience the unique charm of Taizhou's indigenous culture at the gala.

The Spring Festival Gala is scheduled to premiere at 8 pm on Jan 27 and will be broadcast on several media platforms.
