Celebrate a dazzling Chinese New Year in Taizhou

Taizhou Fantawild Wild Land in Zhejiang province has a myriad of activities for the upcoming Spring Festival, Tide News reported on Jan 19.
The amusement park will be hosting the "Happy Chinese New Year" themed event from Jan 29 to Feb 12. A lineup of captivating intangible cultural heritage performances and folk activities will allow visitors to immerse themselves in the rich traditions and atmosphere of Chinese New Year.
A variety of firework performances, which are recognized as intangible cultural heritage, will make their debut in Taizhou, promising to dazzle audiences with mesmerizing visual effects.
In addition to the traditional lion dance performances, the park has invited a Yingge Dance team from Guangdong to present their unique fusion of opera, dance, and martial arts. The performance will captivate audiences with its dynamic energy and cultural significance.
Furthermore, visitors can expect to spot a series of elaborate lantern displays featuring themes such as the twelve Chinese zodiac animals and the god of wealth. The park will also offer interactive activities, including challenges with various wealth gods to win special Spring Festival gifts.
From Jan 29 to Feb 12, the park will extend its operating hours from 10 am to 9 pm. The "Super Windmill Fireworks Show" at night will amaze visitors with 200-meter-high fireworks that look like a large windmill spinning in the sky.
