Senbo Outdoor Products Co in Sanmen county, Taizhou, Zhejiang province, is seeing a surge in sales for winter outdoor jackets while preparing to launch new spring and summer collections.

General Manager Zheng Yuansen highlighted the integration of advanced technology into their products, significantly enhancing market competitiveness. "The latest jackets feature graphene heating film, offering both warmth and comfort, with added functionalities like GPS positioning."

The growing popularity of outdoor activities has propelled outdoor jackets into the spotlight, becoming a preferred choice for not just outdoor enthusiasts but urban commuters. Consumers appreciate the modern designs and enhanced functionality of the latest products, a far cry from the bulky and monotonous options of the past.

Sanmen county has emerged as a powerhouse in outdoor jacket production, with over 300 enterprises and more than 30,000 employees contributing to a thriving industry chain.

In the first 10 months of 2024, the county produced 59.5 million outdoor jackets, generating over 10.4 billion yuan ($1.42 billion) in sales. The debut of Sanmen outdoor jackets at the Canton Fair in May 2024 attracted numerous domestic and international clients, enhancing the industry's global appeal.

The Sanmen Research Institute of Zhejiang Sci-Tech University has been key in the transformation and upgrading of Sanmen's jacket industry, granting numerous patents to local enterprises and elevating the technological standard of domestically produced outdoor jackets.
