The Daoyuan Digital Chinese Music Experience Hall opened in Shanxia village, Xianju county, Taizhou, Zhejiang province, on Dec 31, becoming Zhejiang's first digital cultural experience hub centered around Chinese music.

Shanxia village boasts traditional Chinese architectural treasures like the Tongjiang Academy and the Daoyuan Ancient Mansion. The experience hall breathes new life into the century-old building through the fusion of Chinese music, ancient architecture, and cutting-edge digital technologies.

"The hall is a bridge between nature and humanity. Visitors can enjoy the natural wonders while appreciating traditional culture here," said Zheng Haimin, head of the Xianju county publicity department.

While preserving and promoting the rich heritage of Chinese music, the Daoyuan Digital Chinese Music Experience Hall leverages technologies like big data and artificial intelligence to showcase the allure of traditional Chinese music in an innovative way.

With plans to host traditional culture studies, ancient mansion concerts, and other activities to invigorate the historic site, the goal is to collaborate with study tour institutions and music societies to establish this cultural gem into a sought-after destination.
