The Zhejiang Agricultural Fair in Hangzhou from Nov 22 to 26 saw Taizhou's specialty agricultural products become the center of attention, delighting visitors with their quality and variety.

In the Taizhou exhibition area, products like oranges, watermelons, pomelos, and large yellow croakers were highly popular. The seasonal oranges, in particular, were a big hit.

Chu Konggui, head of Linhai Huanzi Fruit Cooperative, allowed visitors to sample Linhai oranges at the fair. Despite a small price increase due to lower yields and higher labor costs, the sweet fruits still sold out quickly.

The large yellow croakers from a fishery company in Jiaojiang district attracted many visitors due to their freshness. Zhou Junhui, the company's sales manager, said that they sold over 200 yellow croakers on the fair's first day and secured preliminary agreements with several new customers, expanding their market reach.

Innovative products from Taizhou also saw brisk sales. A food company in Xianju county introduced a new product, featuring local chickens and traditional Chinese medicine like dangshen, which can be eaten after soaking in boiling water or steaming for six to eight minutes.

Over the first three days of the fair, Taizhou's agricultural products achieved over 1.2 million yuan ($165,425.79) in sales.
