The outdoor leisure industry in Linhai, a county-level city in Taizhou, Zhejiang province, is a cornerstone of its economy and the leading export sector. Currently, as the industry enters its peak production season, companies in Linhai are ramping up efforts to meet growing demand.

At Dayang Umbrella Co, colorful courtyard umbrellas roll off the production line one after the other, destined for markets in Europe and North America. "Our products are mainly sold to the United States, and the peak sales season is from March to June," said Lu Wangke, the company's general manager.

With a focus on enhancing efficiency and ensuring quality, the company produces nearly 10,000 umbrellas daily, with 95 percent exported to the US at prices ranging from $50 to $400, earning praise from customers worldwide.

Similarly, at Zhejiang Zhengte Co, a flurry of activity characterizes the production of outdoor leisure products like tents and sun umbrellas. The company's emphasis on research and development has led to rapid production cycles, with orders completed within seven days.

With over 30 years of development, Linhai's outdoor leisure industry now comprises thousands of manufacturers and supporting enterprises. From January to September, the export value reached 5.95 billion yuan ($822.44 million), marking a 6.6 percent increase year-on-year and showcasing the industry's robust growth and global appeal.
