During the 7th China International Import Expo from Nov 5 to 10, Taizhou, Zhejiang province, seized the opportunity to explore new avenues of cooperation and development.
Over 30 business leaders from Wenling, a county-level city in Taizhou, explored cutting-edge technological equipment from global players like Japan and Germany in the intelligent industry and information technology zone on Nov 8.
Wang Di, general manager of Wenchang CNC Machine Tool Equipment Co, said, "We got inspiration from international equipment. We will introduce new equipment from internationally renowned manufacturers into our production, driving innovation in our production processes."
Beyond business, scientific innovation and incubation institutions also took an active part in CIIE visits. The Taizhou Science and Technology Bureau organized a group comprising over 10 institutions to learn from novel incubation models and interact with overseas scientific innovation and incubation institutions at CIIE on Nov 6.
"The visit broadened my horizons. With these new ideas, we might be able to attract more projects related to new quality productive forces to Taizhou," said Xiong Fusheng, marketing director of Taizhou Tekmatching Co.
