Yuhuan's exports surge amid international engagement

So far this year, Yuhuan, a county-level city in Taizhou, Zhejiang province, has seen its self-operated export value reach 30.99 billion yuan ($4.36 billion) and export growth rate surpass Taizhou's average by 4.7 percentage points, according to Tide News on Nov 4.

The export growth rate in the third quarter saw notable increases of 8.5 percentage points over the second quarter and 20.7 points over the first quarter.

The 21st China (Yuhuan) International Machine Tool Exhibition concluded with 788 million yuan in on-site transactions and welcomed 336 foreign buyers. Similarly, the 3rd China (Yuhuan) International Plumbing Valve Exhibition secured intended orders exceeding 82 million yuan, attracting over 200 international buyers.

According to the Yuhuan municipal bureau of commerce, Yuhuan's exports to Europe grew by 10.96 percent in the first three quarters, with EU exports up 18.17 percent, while its exports to the United States increased by 17.27 percent. New energy exports from Yuhuan surged by 71.69 percent.

Yuhuan has actively promoted cross-border e-commerce, with over 40 new stores emerging in the first three quarters and exports reaching 1.48 billion yuan.

Export trade service platforms have been crucial, with Zhejiang CAFTP Service Co providing comprehensive services to support the expansion of Yuhuan's foreign trade.
