Olympic champion Huang Yuting won the gold medal with a new world record of 254.5 points in the women's 10m air rifle at the ISSF World Cup Final in New Delhi, India, on Oct 15. This is her first individual gold medal at the World Cup Final.

Huang, born in 2006 in Huangyan district, Taizhou, Zhejiang province, has demonstrated exceptional shooting talent since joining the shooting rifle team at the local amateur sports school in 2017.

Young though she is, she has achieved remarkable results in major competitions, rapidly emerging as a rising star in the Chinese and global shooting communities.

At the 2022 Shooting World Championships, Huang secured two gold and one silver medal. During the 2023 Hangzhou Asian Games, she won three gold medals and broke the women's 10m air rifle Asian Games record.

At the Paris Olympics this year, Huang not only claimed gold in the mixed team 10m air rifle but also earned a silver medal in the women's 10m air rifle.

With her victory at the World Cup, Huang has now completed the grand slam by winning gold medals at the World Championships, Olympics, and World Cup Finals.
