The 2024 Taizhou (Duqiao) International Optics Fair will be held in Duqiao town, Taizhou, Zhejiang province, from Oct 18 to 20.

The event, spanning 30,000 square meters and featuring four pavilions, will host more than 300 companies from key production hubs like Guangdong's Shenzhen, Jiangsu's Danyang, Zhejiang's Wenzhou, and Taizhou.

Over 8,000 buyers, including national and international traders and e-commerce representatives, are expected to attend, a significant increase from the previous year.

This year's fair will feature a designer brand showcase area, inviting local companies and nationally renowned designers to display their creative works.

The "Eyewear Fitting Festival" will offer personalized experiences and discounts for consumers, while engaging them in the eyewear selection process.

Taizhou boasts nearly 1,800 eyewear manufacturers, with a complete industrial chain and an annual output value of 13.46 billion yuan ($1.89 billion).

The first Taizhou International Optics Fair last year attracted buyers from 32 countries and regions, securing 150 million yuan in intended orders.

Following this success, Taizhou aims to position itself as a global eyewear production hub. Wang Zhongliang, secretary-general of the Taizhou Eyewear Chamber of Commerce, believes that showcasing Taizhou's quality and capabilities will attract more overseas orders in the future.
