The Taizhou International Expo Center opened with the 2024 China (Taizhou) International Auto Parts & Service Supplies Expo as its first event on Sept 19.

The center has received a total of 5.16 billion yuan ($733.43 million) in investment. It spans approximately 420,000 square meters and includes seven exhibition halls, a registration hall, a conference center, a hotel, and more, making it a comprehensive venue for exhibitions, conferences, commerce, offices, and high-end hotels.

The four-day expo focuses on developing Taizhou's future automotive industrial chain. It features around 2,500 booths across a 50,000-sq-m exhibition area, showcasing complete vehicles, auto and motorcycle parts, and a dedicated Geely pavilion.

The expo highlights a diverse range of exhibitors, including leading new energy vehicle brands like NIO, Li Auto, and BYD and top-tier fuel vehicle brands such as BMW, Bentley, Porsche, and Mercedes-Benz.

The event also attracts major players in the auto parts industry. Hall 5 is dedicated entirely to Geely, showcasing the latest and most comprehensive products from Geely Group for the first time globally.

According to Zhang Hongyong, chairman of Taizhou International Expo Center Co Ltd, the center will host 12 more exhibitions this year, covering key sectors like plastics, agricultural machinery, and general merchandise. These events aim to boost Taizhou's manufacturing capabilities and enhance international exchanges and cooperation.
