The 2023-2024 China Junior High School Basketball League finals concluded in Handan, Hebei province, on Aug 18. The boys' basketball team from Huipu Experiment School in Taizhou, Zhejiang province, emerged victorious with a score of 82-72.

This victory marks their second consecutive national championship, breaking a decade-long streak where no team had managed to defend their title.

Since emerging as a prominent school in national youth campus basketball in 2019, Huipu Experiment School's boys' basketball team has consistently performed well. They have won second and third place in the China Junior High School Basketball League on multiple occasions and claimed the championship in 2023.

The China Junior High School Basketball League is the only national-level five-on-five basketball competition for junior high school students. It is the most extensive and prestigious junior high school basketball league in China, boasting the widest coverage and highest participation numbers.
