The Yong'an River in Taizhou, Zhejiang province, formerly a busy shipping waterway, is now a popular destination for rafting, especially in summer.
Known as the mother river of Xianju county in Taizhou, the Yong'an River is revered for its clear, high-quality water.
The section designated for rafting covers a total distance of 7.68 kilometers, taking around an hour to traverse with bamboo rafts made locally in Xianju.
Drifting downstream on a bamboo raft, tourists can enjoy bird songs and the rustling of trees, with lush greenery and dappled sunlight reflecting off the water, escaping the hustle and bustle of urban life.
