The 19th Zhejiang Pump & Electrical Machinery Exhibition recently concluded in Wenling, a county-level city in Taizhou, with resounding success.

Over the course of three days, the event drew 44,200 buyers and visitors from both domestic and international markets, resulting in on-site transactions totaling 650 million yuan ($89.86 million), intended contracts valued at 1.71 billion yuan, and an intended foreign trade transaction volume of $2.88 million.

Serving as an annual pinnacle for the domestic pump and electric machinery industry, the exhibition featured 1,150 booths, covering a sprawling 25,000 square meters in total. It garnered participation from more than 400 esteemed domestic enterprises, as well as companies from abroad, including representatives from the United States and Denmark.

This year marked the inaugural participation of the US-based company Xylem at the exhibition. Tong Yunqi, marketing manager of Xylem (China) Co Limited, expressed during an interview that it was an exceptional platform, uniting renowned pump enterprises, buyers, and end-users. He emphasized that they had received numerous purchase intentions, underscoring the event's efficacy as a business platform.

The exhibition also addressed the practical needs of industry enterprises seeking to expand into overseas markets by inviting over 40 international buyers from 15 countries, including India, Egypt, and Jordan.

Wenling, renowned as China's largest pump manufacturing hub, is home to over 3,000 pump and electrical machinery enterprises. It has established an integrated industrial chain system that encompasses the production of complete pumps, electrical machinery, and specialized components.
