The Taizhou Photography Art College was inaugurated in Taizhou, Zhejiang province, on March 17, according to local media reports.

This institution is the result of a collaborative effort between the Taizhou Photographers' Association, Taizhou College, and Taizhou Vocational & Technical College, marking the establishment of the nation's first photography art college at the prefecture level led by a local photographers' association.

During the inauguration ceremony, the three organizations pledged to leverage the new college as a platform to strengthen all-round cooperation in multiple realms, including talent cultivation, technological innovation, social services, cultural heritage, and international exchanges.

In recent years, Taizhou, renowned as the "Hometown of Chinese Photography", has hosted numerous photography exhibitions. Taizhou photographers have consistently garnered accolades both domestically and internationally, steadily increasing their influence.
