Ningxi, an ancient town nestled upstream of the Yongning River in Taizhou, has been transformed into a lively hub as crowds gather to participate in the local lantern show, which began on March 11.

Held in celebration of Longtaitou Festival, also known as the Eryueer Festival, the event, with a history spanning over seven centuries, offers up a diverse array of cultural experiences.

The exhibition, slated to run until March 17, is more than just a lantern display - it encompasses a wide range of folk art activities, including folk songs, music, operas, acrobatics, and games.

Visitors have the chance to wander through a local ancient street adorned with magnificent lanterns and immerse themselves in the timeless traditions of Ningxi amidst the radiant glow of thousands of lights.

The town's ancient architecture, modern-style shops, and delectable foods add to its charm, attracting visitors from near and far.
