Ziyang Street, situated in the county-level city of Linhai, Taizhou, has recently been recognized as a national nighttime culture and tourism consumption agglomeration zone, making it one of the latest three locations in Zhejiang province to receive this prestigious honor.

Spanning 1,080 meters, Ziyang Street stands as one of the most meticulously preserved historical blocks in China. Its historical significance was previously acknowledged in 2012 when it was designated as a "Famous Chinese Historical and Cultural Street" by the Ministry of Culture and the State Bureau of Cultural Relics.

Beyond its historical eminence, Ziyang Street is a bustling commercial hub, renowned for its array of snack bars and shops offering a diverse range of goods, including tea, herbs, hardware, and everyday essentials. This vibrant thoroughfare has solidified its status as one of the most popular commercial streets in Taizhou.

Visitors to Ziyang Street are treated to an assortment of delectable snacks, such as seaweed cake, plum cake, and the exquisite danqingyangwei — a fried sweetened bean paste delicately coated with egg whites — a culinary experience that should not be missed.
