Boonie Bears Bay, a tourism resort inspired by the beloved Chinese cartoon series Boonie Bears, is poised to open in Linhai, a county-level city in Taizhou, just in time for the Spring Festival holiday.

The expansive resort, encompassing an amusement park, a water sports park, and a commercial block, will officially welcome guests on the third day of the Lunar New Year, falling on Feb 12 this year, as announced by its operators during a news briefing on Jan 22.

At the core of the project is the amusement park, which showcases two popular animated works - Boonie Bears and Miracle Girl. It features two exclusive immersive indoor experiences and 13 outdoor amusement attractions, promising an exhilarating visit for visitors.

Admission tickets to Boonie Bears Bay are priced at 128 yuan ($17.85) each, while a special parent-child ticket for one adult and one child is available for 168 yuan. The themed commercial block is set to open to the public in advance on Jan 23.

This highly anticipated attraction is expected to breathe new life into the local tourism industry, marking the debut of the area's first large-scale themed amusement facility.

The Boonie Bears cartoon series, which follows the adventures of two lovable bears, Briar and Bramble, as they strive to thwart Logger Vick from destroying their forest home, has captured the hearts of audiences across China through its broadcast on various Chinese websites and television stations.
