The 2023 Taizhou Photography Week kicked off on Dec 7 at the Taizhou Contemporary Art Museum.

Organized by the Zhejiang Federation of Literary and Art Circles and the Taizhou Municipal People's Government, this year's exhibition has adopted the theme "Encounter Photography, Meet Taizhou, Connect the World".

Consisting of six exhibition areas, the event showcases nearly 1,000 professional photographs. Sections include an international photography masterpiece exhibition, an exhibition of China Photography Golden Statue Award winners, and an exhibition dedicated to the Belt and Road Initiative.

Taizhou has gained prominence as the "Hometown of Chinese Photography", known for its wealth of photography resources and significant advancements in the field. In recent years, the city has successfully hosted prestigious events like the 28th National Photography Art Exhibition and established influential brand activities such as the China (Taizhou) Photography Biennial.

The exhibition will remain open to the public until Dec 15, providing a golden opportunity for visitors to immerse themselves in the beauty of photography and appreciate the cultural significance of Taizhou.
