The 2023 Zhejiang Agricultural Expo kicked off on a high note on Dec 7 at the Hangzhou International Expo Center, with Taizhou stealing the spotlight thanks to its impressive display of over 1,000 types of agricultural products from 112 producers.

For the first time ever, more than 10 agricultural producers from Taizhou participated in the expo, bringing with them a wide array of exceptional offerings, including large yellow croakers, oranges and tea leaves.

Among the first-timers from the city, Taizhou Hongxin Food Co Ltd made waves with its exquisite roasted sugar. With sales amounting to around 1,000 yuan ($139.73), the company received overwhelmingly positive feedback from the discerning citizens of Hangzhou.

What's more, Taizhou saw 30 of its agricultural products receive gold medals, securing the top spot in the province in terms of number of awards.
