The 2023 Olive Chinese Restaurant Awards were presented by Olive magazine on Nov 23 in Shanghai, recognizing five restaurants and two chefs from Taizhou.

Taking the spotlight were four establishments that received the esteemed title of "Best Zhejiang-Jiangsu Cuisine Restaurant". They included the Linghu branch of Xinrongji, the Pujianghui branch of Shunji, the restaurant at Huangyan International Grand Hotel, and the Xintaicai branch of Longyan.

Adding to the list of outstanding establishments was Yuntaige Chinese restaurant, located within the Taizhou Hilton Hotel. This restaurant was bestowed with the illustrious title of "Best Hotel Restaurant".

Taizhou cuisine has gained in popularity, as catering enterprises seek to expand into other regions across the nation.

The leading dining establishments, including Xinrongji and Shunji, have already established a foothold in major cities such as Beijing and Shanghai. In Shanghai alone, there are over 1,300 Taizhou restaurants, with a Taizhou restaurant present every four kilometers within the city's streets and alleyways.
