Huang Yuting, an exceptional shooting athlete from Taizhou in East China's Zhejiang province, bagged two gold medals at the Hangzhou Asian Games on Sept 24.

Huang, along with her teammates Han Jiayu and Wang Zhilin, claimed the title in the women's 10m air rifle team event. Later that day, Huang continued her victory streak by winning the women's 10m air rifle individual event, setting a new Asian Games record with a total score of 252.7. Han Jiayu, another Chinese athlete, secured the silver medal with a score of 251.3.

Despite being just 17 years old, Huang Yuting has already made a name for herself in the shooting world. In March, she claimed two consecutive gold medals at the 2023 International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) Rifle/Pistol World Cup in India. She followed that success up in May, when she added another gold and bronze medal to her collection at the World Cup in Azerbaijan.
