In a remarkable display of historical reenactment and community cohesion, Wenling's Taiping subdistrict held the "Song Dynasty Asian Games" event on July 22.
Taking participants on a journey back in time, this event allowed the community's youth to try out sports from the Song Dynasty (960-1279).
The event showcased an assortment of captivating activities, including cuju (an ancient form of soccer), chuiwan (a precursor to modern-day golf), and archery.
