The sustained efforts made by Taizhou's Luqiao district to improve the ease of doing business through a series of government service reforms have been paying dividends.

One significant outcome is the thriving entrepreneurship and innovation in the district. According to official statistics, as of the end of June, Luqiao has become the first urban area in Taizhou to surpass the milestone of 100,000 registered businesses, reaching over 101,200. This represents a yearly growth rate of 10.25 percent.

Zheng Ting, a finance-related staff member at a company based in Luqiao, recently visited the Luqiao Administrative Service Center to handle a change in the company's legally authorized person. With all the necessary documents prepared, the procedure was completed in just a few minutes.

Zheng expressed her satisfaction, stating, "The services provided are excellent and efficient. We no longer need to make multiple trips as everything can be completed in one visit."

In addition to streamlining procedures and establishing online channels, the local government has also delegated 39 business registration procedures to towns and sub-districts. The goal is to enable people to access these services within a 15-minute travel time.

Chen Meijun, an official at the Luqiao Market Supervision Administration, emphasized the importance of a favorable business environment for market entities, likening it to sunlight, water, and air. Looking ahead, they will continue to improve policies and optimize services, making Luqiao a fertile ground for the healthy growth of businesses.
