Zhejiang supports employment and entrepreneurship of college graduates

Print PrintIn April of this year, the nationwide 2023 Youth Employment and Entrepreneurship Promotion Plan, along with the Zhejiang province's "Million Jobs Entering Campus" special campaign was launched in Hangzhou, capital of East China's Zhejiang province.
During the event, a total of 1.03 million positions jobs were offered by 47,000 enterprises and institutions across the province, aiming to facilitate faster and better boost employment for among college graduates.
Zhejiang is vigorously developing the digital economy, advanced manufacturing, modern agriculture, and modern service industry to create more high-quality employment opportunities suitable for college graduates. It is estimated that the manufacturing, internet, and modern service industries alone will provide more than 1.2 million job positions in the province by the end of 2023.
Zhejiang encourages small and micro-enterprises to employ college graduates. Small and micro-enterprises that hire college graduates within two years of their graduation can enjoy a maximum of 12 months of subsidies for pensions, medical expenses, and unemployment insurance.
