Foreign investors favor Taizhou, a city in East China's Zhejiang province, due to its congenial business environment and strong government support.

One such example is Valeo Group, a global automotive parts supplier based in France, which chose Taizhou as its entry point into the Chinese market 29 years ago.

According to Wu Zongwen, general manager of Valeo (Taizhou) Automotive Parts Co Ltd, the decision to set up operations in Taizhou was made due to several factors, including its well-developed private economy, complete industrial chain, high-quality human resources, and favorable business environment.

Wu emphasized that the favorable business environment in Taizhou has played a crucial role in the high-quality development of Valeo in the city.

Expressing gratitude, Wu highlighted the efficient and responsive approach of the government. He shared an example in which Valeo submitted seven requests, including building parking spaces and bus stations and offering school admissions for employees' children. The government not only responded within a week but also implemented everything within a month. This level of dedication deeply impressed Valeo.

Meanwhile, the government is continuously unveiling industrial support policies and talent attraction policies while accelerating infrastructure construction. These initiatives have further boosted the confidence of businesses in Taizhou's future development.

Looking ahead, Wu affirmed Valeo's commitment to increasing investment in Taizhou. "These investments will greatly enhance our core technical competitiveness, significantly increase market share, and allow us to take deeper roots and thrive in the fertile land of Taizhou!" he said.
