The innovative development of the cultural industry in East China's Zhejiang province is being showcased at the 19th China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair, which opened in Shenzhen, South China's Guangdong province on June 7 and will run for five days, local media reported.
The Zhejiang Pavilion, covering an area of 1,353 square meters, focuses on the province's implementation of the national strategy of cultural digitalization, the integration of culture and tourism, and other related projects.
The exhibition features 80 key cultural enterprises and units from across the province, with four display areas showcasing digital culture, major projects, the integration of culture and tourism, and cultural space.
The Zhejiang Pavilion uses technology to create a sense of overlapping time and space, allowing visitors to fly over mountains and lakes, travel through ancient paintings, and comprehend thousands of years of cultural heritage with just one click.
The digital culture area showcases emerging culture-related technologies such as big data service platforms, online games, and digital animation. Traditional cultural industries that have undergone digital transformation, such as cultural arts and cultural equipment manufacturing, are also displaying new applications, experiences and consumption, fully demonstrating the province's unremitting efforts to promote a "Digital Zhejiang".
A cultural and creative display area has been added to the Zhejiang Pavilion at this year's event. Twenty-eight recommended companies have brought hundreds of cultural and creative exhibits, including intangible cultural heritage products, trendy IP toys, porcelains and other crafts.
The 19th Asian Games, scheduled to open in Hangzhou in September, is another important theme at the Zhejiang Pavilion. Franchised products for the Games, including badges, dolls, silk scarves and stationery, are on display there.
