The 5th China International Tea Expo opened at the Hangzhou International Expo Center on May 20. Twenty tea enterprises from Taizhou, Zhejiang province attended the expo.

The expo covers an area of 50,000 square meters, including four exhibition zones, to showcase achievements, brand products, special products and promotion activities.

Nearly 900 famous overseas and domestic tea enterprises took part, displaying more than 10,000 tea products. The expo will run until May 24.

The expo organizing committee held a series of activities during the expo, including the 5th International Summit Forum of the Chinese Tea Industry, the China Contemporary Tea Culture Development Forum and the 2023 Tea Town Tourism Development Conference. Additionally, 38 brand promotions and tea activities will be held during the event.

Taizhou boasts fertile soil suitable for tea growth, and its main tea production areas are mainly in Linhai, Tiantai and Xianju, which are the birthplaces of many well-known tea brands.

Taizhou's exhibition area exhibited and sold various famous branded teas such as Tiantai Mountain Yunwu tea and yellow tea, Linhai Panhao tea, Sanmen Lyuhao tea and Xianju Bilyu tea, attracting many customers.
