Huang claims 2 golds at ISSF World Cup

Chinese shooter Huang Yuting recently won the 10m air rifle mixed team gold and the women's 10m rifle gold at the 2023 International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) Rifle/Pistol World Cup held in Bhopal, India.

On March 23, Huang and her teammate Sheng Lihao claimed the 10m air rifle mixed team gold by beating the Hungarian duo 16 - 2 in the final. The Chinese pair made it to the gold medal event with a score of 632.2 points, the second highest in the qualifiers.

A day later, Huang claimed her second gold at the competition by securing a 16 - 4 victory over her US counterpart in the 10m rifle individual final.

Born in Shangzheng township in Taizhou's Huangyan district in 2006, Huang was drafted into the Chinese national pistol shooting team in 2021. The 17-year-old took home two golds and a silver at the 2022 ISSF World Championships Rifle/Pistol in Cairo, Egypt.
