The 2023 Yuhuan Marathon was held in the county-level city of Yuhuan, Taizhou, East China's Zhejiang province on March 26. Nearly 3,700 people from 67 cities in China participated in the event, which comprised a half marathon and a 5-kilometer run.

Yang Le won the men's half marathon with a time of 1 hour, 6 minutes and 38 seconds, while Wang Wentian won the women's category.

The participants of the 5-km run were from all age groups, with the youngest being only six years old, according to the organizers.

The event started from the Yuhuan Conference and Exhibition Center before passing by a number of scenic attractions like Xuanmen Bay, Moon Bridge and Yuhuan greenway.

The marathon, which is the first large scale sporting event held in Yuhuan, will be followed by a series of other events like the 10th East Asian Karate Championship and the China Triathlon League, which will be held in the first half of April and the second half of May respectively.
