Zhejiang Era New Energy Technology Co Ltd was listed on the National Equities Exchange and Quotations, also known as the "new third board", on Dec 12, bringing the total number of listed companies on the board from Taizhou's Huangyan district to seven.

Era New Energy is a company specializing in the R&D and production of solar photovoltaic modules and other energy saving and environmental protection products.

The company has developed more than 2,000 kinds of photovoltaic application products and is capable of producing 1.3 gigawatts of photovoltaic modules annually.

Huangyan has been helping companies to go public as part of efforts to attract more investment and seek industrial transformation.

A green channel has been set up in the district to help companies raise capital through listing. Presently, Huangyan is home to five listed companies, seven new third board listed companies as well as 100 candidates that are slated to make initial public offerings.
