Ziyang Street recently made the list of the second batch of Zhejiang provincial tourism and leisure blocks released by the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism and the Provincial Development and Reform Commission.

Located in the county-level city of Linhai in Taizhou, the 1,080-meter street is one of the most well-preserved historical blocks in China.

In 2012, it was named a "Famous Chinese Historical and Cultural Street" by the Ministry of Culture and the State Bureau of Cultural Relics.

In addition to being a historical block, Ziyang street, which is lined with snack bars and shops selling tea, herbs, hardware, and other daily necessities, is also one of the most popular commercial streets in Taizhou.

Snacks sold in the street, including seaweed cake, plum cake, and danqingyangwei, a type of fried sweetened bean paste coated with egg whites, are all worth trying.
