This year, the contest will be held both online and offline. Hangzhou was selected as the first stop of the offline preliminaries, and 15 projects participated in the roadshow after the launch ceremony.

The offline winners will be announced after Oct 9 alongside the online winners.

The contest's winners will likely be included in the 500 Elite Plan, an initiative launched by the Taizhou municipal government to attract global talents

In addition, they can enjoy preferential policies including low-interest loans, housing allowances, and rent exemptions for office space and be given favorable treatment in fields including public transportation, social security and offspring educational service.
