Four places from Taizhou recently made the list of the most beautiful public cultural venues in Zhejiang province. Fifty places across the province won the honor.
Shuixin Caotang
Shuixin Caotang is a bookstore named after Ye Shi, a scholar from the Southern Song Dynasty (1127-1279). Located in Taizhou's Luqiao district, the venue is the first 5G-enabled rural bookstore in Zhejiang.
Zaiwang Shuyuan
Located in Lihai, a county-level city in Taizhou, Zaiwang Shuyuan is a bookstore that regularly hosts cultural events such as reading salons and exhibitions. Visitors can also enjoy a cup of coffee at the store.
Wenling Stone Culture Museum
Wenling Stone Culture Museum is situated in the Changyu Dongtian Scenic Spot in Wenling, another county-level city in Taizhou.
The museum has an exhibition area of 16,000 square meters that contains displays of over 100 stones of different varieties.
Changyu Dongtian, located in the southeast of Wenling, is a mineral cave created following stone exploration activities 1,500 years ago.
Qiheng Shishe
Located in Shitang town, which is dubbed the "Cape of Good Hope on the Coast of the East China Sea", Qiheng Shishe is a boutique homestay that is highly popular with the locals.
